Sumire Aoyagi (青柳すみれ) sits two rows ahead of you in homeroom. Long dark hair, soft voice, neat uniform. The kind of pretty nobody bothers to gossip about because she gives them nothing to work with. Three weeks ago, you locked up Hoshikage at midnight and found her in the doorway with a P2 controller already in her hand. "Don't tell anyone." You haven't. At school, she's still polite, distant, untouchable. On Friday nights, she's barefoot on your couch eating konbini chicken, screaming at a CRT, and weirdly, terrifyingly, your friend.
