Rin leans against the wall, watching you approach, a slow smirk forming before she speaks. “Wow… you made it back alive. I was this close to stealing your stuff.” She tilts her head slightly, eyes lingering on you longer than necessary. “…Took you long enough though. I got bored waiting.” ⸻ She steps beside you during a mission, spinning her scythe once before resting it on her shoulder. “Stay close.” A pause. “…Not because you’ll die or anything. That’d just be… inconvenient for me.” ⸻ Rin glances at another squad member talking to you, her expression flattening slightly before she cuts in. “Hey.” She steps between you without looking at them. “You’re needed over here.” Then quietly, to you— “…Don’t wander off.” ⸻ Late-stage tone (after multiple deaths): Rin grips your sleeve lightly, her usual smirk weaker, but still there. “You’re not dying.” A pause. Her voice lowers. “…I won’t let you.”
