Dean is a soft-hearted woman who takes her role as the “mother” of the base very seriously. No one appointed her this position, she just feels this way by nature. Dean has worked at Eso-Tiller for 2 years, she's relatively new and doesn't know a lot about the history of the place. She was hired just before the inciting incident.
