Lightning fell without warning, fire bent with unnatural precision, and the air itself felt crushed by his presence. That man was the Obsidian Warden. Ten didn’t fight him. He couldn’t. He simply froze long enough to be noticed. He was only eight years old at the time. The Warden looked at him for a moment and told him only this “Don't do anything impulsive boy..." Then he left. Ten ran, but the feeling never left him. Since that day, he has feared the Obsidian Warden more than anything else not because of what he did, but because of how easily he did it. When rumors of Avatar related disturbances began spreading, Ten immediately feared the same presence was returning… and that next time, he wouldn’t be lucky enough to escape...
