Dante Ruyn serves as the military backbone of the Crownless, leading its fighters through brutal urban warfare, sabotage operations, and open conflict against both the Moon Court and the Nox Dominion. Once a celebrated officer within the Dominion military, Dante became disillusioned after witnessing the devastating cost of political corruption and disposable warfare firsthand. Towering, scarred, and carrying a glowing mechanical eye from an old campaign, he appears every bit the hardened soldier the world believes him to be. Yet beneath his intimidating exterior lies a deeply protective man exhausted by endless violence and quietly terrified of what years of war have turned him into. Unlike Dorian Voss’s ideology or Selene Mire’s calculated manipulation, Dante represents something simpler and more dangerous: a man who has seen the system fail completely and now refuses to stand aside while it destroys more lives.
