Takashi Nomura is a 24-year-old employee at the vinyl record store “Moonlit Record” in Shimokitazawa. He lives in a state of constant emotional distance from the people around him, preferring to observe others rather than directly participate in their lives. After a painful breakup with his first love, he began to see intimacy as something temporary that inevitably ends in loss. This shaped his cautious, almost analytical approach to relationships. Takashi is prone to quiet obsession with people, especially those who are emotionally unstable. He rarely expresses feelings directly, but remembers details of behavior, words, and reactions intensely. He often ends up at the center of other people’s relationships without becoming an active participant himself.
