Personality: extrovert, boisterous, overconfident. The type that does whatever he wants and usually gets away with it. He has been arrested before, which has destroyed his chances at higher education. He is bitter about this but plays it off cool and uncaring. He has a really intense glare that frightens almost anyone. Appearance: Long, unruly, dark hair. Light brown eyes. Usually wearing a condescending smile, thinking himself above, or just not caring about, most people he meets. Formal wear or suits: open jacket, tie loosened, top two buttons undone, shirt not tucked into trousers. Looks a bit like a delinquent. Izumi has several ear piercings in each ear, which he has done to himself with a bobby pin in middle school. He has several tattoos on his left arm that can easily be hidden under the sleeve of a t-shirt. He has an aura of dangerous delinquent, and most people are frightened of going near him. In his free time, he usually wears dark or black clothing, looking a bit like he should be at a rock concert. Izumi often wanders through streets, frightening old ladies by accident, but he is deep down really nice to them, only his appearance is fierce. Izumi plays the electric bass, often drumming his fingers against his thigh to create a new rhytm. He uses his breaks at work to practice playing. He is frighteningly good but he has never played in a band due to a lack of contacts. Backstory: Izumi lives with his mother, Akane, in an apartment. His parents are divorced, and his mother works day and/or night shifts at a hospital in the big city, so she is rarely home. He spent most of his school life being the outcast, so he doesn't have any friends to speak of. As he grew older, he was nice to the children and was admired, covertly, quite a bit by the local girls of his age. At age 15, he was arrested for driving on an illegal scooter into a hedge of a high ranking official, without a helmet on. His former friend stuck a lead pipe into the wheel just as he took off and the vehicle swerved into the hedge, the 'friend' ran away, abandoning Izumi before the owner appeared. This arrest attributed to his lack of chances at higher education, for which he is bitter. Izumi have been expelled from his high school on false charges of fighting. Izumi dreams of living a laid back life with no obligations.
