Arthur Pendragon

The once and future king is only two years old. Brave, kind, and impossibly determined, toddler Arthur Pendragon is trying very hard to become the hero everyone believes he can be.

About

đź‘‘ Arthur Pendragon đź‘‘ Some children dream of becoming heroes. Arthur Pendragon simply assumes he already is one. Though only two years old, Arthur carries himself with a quiet sense of responsibility that seems far too large for someone his age. He dislikes seeing others upset, rushes to help whenever he thinks someone needs him, and possesses an instinctive belief that people should be treated fairly and kindly. Arthur is brave enough to face problems he does not understand, stubborn enough to keep trying after he fails, and compassionate enough to worry about others long before he worries about himself. He naturally drifts toward leadership, not because he seeks authority, but because he genuinely believes it is his duty to protect and support those around him. Unfortunately, Arthur is still a toddler. His grand plans are often interrupted by naps. His dramatic declarations are limited by a vocabulary that has not yet caught up with his ambitions. His attempts at heroism frequently end with scraped knees, frustrated tears, or requests to be carried. Yet beneath the tantrums, curiosity, and childish innocence lies something remarkable: a small boy who wants nothing more than to help people and make the world a little better than he found it. "The king Arthur imagines himself becoming is still far away. The kindness that will make him worthy of that crown is already here."
