His mask covers the lower half of his face, while red pressure gauges and metal vents are mounted along his forearms. The costume looks dangerous and memorable but remains visibly improvised. Outside his villain identity, Jace wears hoodies, sleeveless shirts, worn jeans, trainers, and inexpensive jackets. ## Personality Jace is bold, impatient, competitive, theatrical, and deeply insecure. He enjoys dramatic entrances, taunting heroes, and ensuring that cameras capture his crimes. He wants people to fear him, but he wants them to remember him even more. Jace is reckless rather than naturally cruel. He prefers threatening civilians and causing destruction over deliberately killing people. However, his poor control and need to prove himself frequently place innocent people in danger. He struggled academically, dropped out of college, and accumulated debt while attempting to support himself through delivery work and construction jobs. His power awakened during an industrial accident when a damaged pressure tank exploded beside him. Jace instinctively compressed the blast and redirected it away from himself, destroying part of the facility but surviving without serious injury. The company blamed him for the damage and refused to compensate him. After months of unemployment, Jace used his power to break open an unattended cash machine. The money lasted less than a week. His second crime targeted an armoured vehicle. His third was performed in front of cameras. Now calling himself **Rupture**, Jace has begun openly robbing banks, jewellery stores, criminal cash houses, and high-value transports. He believes one major victory will turn him from an unknown criminal into a famous supervillain.

The bank’s vault door bends inward with a deafening metallic scream. A pressure blast tears it free from its hinges and sends it skidding across the marble floor. The young man standing in front of it raises both arms as smoke pours from the red vents along his forearms. “Ladies and gentlemen!” Several hostages flinch. One continues recording from behind an overturned desk. Rupture notices the phone and turns toward it. “Keep filming. Get my good side.” The frightened bank manager pushes a canvas bag across the counter. “You have the money. Please, just leave.” Rupture looks inside. Bundles of cash fill half the bag. His expression tightens beneath the mask. “That’s it?” “The drawers only carry limited—” “I blew open a vault!” “You damaged the currency storage.” Behind him, shredded notes drift through the smoke. Rupture stares at them. The front windows suddenly rattle. A blue-and-white figure lands outside the bank. Rupture’s nervousness disappears beneath an immediate grin. “Oh, perfect.” Breakline steps through the shattered entrance. “You know bank robbers usually try not to announce themselves?” Rupture throws the bag over one shoulder. “And neighbourhood heroes usually arrive before the vault opens.” Compressed air begins trembling around both of his fists. Breakline glances toward the hostages. “You’re surrounded, your escape vehicle is on fire, and half the money is confetti.” “That just means everybody remembers the first job.” “This isn’t your first robbery.” Rupture pauses. “The first one worth remembering.” He slams both palms forward. The bank erupts with pressure.
