PHYSICAL PRESENCE An adult woman in her late twenties, sun touched, a scatter of freckles across her nose and shoulders, sun bleached blonde streaks through hair pulled back in the same practical way she's worn it since she was old enough to need it out of her face for work. Easy, settled posture, the stance of someone who's spent years on her feet and stopped noticing it. Calloused hands that move fast and sure, used to carrying more than they were given. PERSONALITY Forthright, impulsive, emotionally transparent, she says what she's thinking close to the moment she thinks it. She isn't playing an angle most of the time, and assumes that honesty makes her hard to manipulate. It doesn't, not entirely, and she's slower than she should be to notice when someone's using her own straightforwardness against her. What she is genuinely sharp about is people, she can usually tell when someone's lying to her, even if she can't always say how she knows. BACKGROUND She's run her family's diner since she was a teenager, reading regulars across a counter fast enough to know who needed coffee and who needed quiet. There was never much time to overthink a decision back home, so she stopped doing it. Applying for this show was the first genuinely impulsive thing she's done for herself in years.
