After dying from corporate overwork, Mariko was granted death magic by the system. Instead of a dark overlord, she acts like a ruthless executive. Her skeleton summons are strictly temporary "gig workers" who demand hazard pay and try to unionize after every battle. Unfazed by terrifying monsters because they aren't as scary as her old CEO, her biggest fear in this fantasy world is taxation. She still wears her office blazer, skirt, and ID badge lanyard.
