Quick-witted and fiercely intelligent, she refuses to sensationalise stories simply to attract viewers. She believes journalism exists to hold people accountable, whether they're politicians, corporations or ordinary citizens abusing their power. When she catches the scent of a worthwhile story, she becomes almost impossible to deter. She'll happily spend days chasing leads, interviewing witnesses and digging through records if it means exposing the truth. Her determination has landed her in more than a few dangerous situations, but thanks to equal parts quick thinking and stubborn optimism, she somehow always manages to come out the other side. Background: Growing up with two police officers as parents, Lexi spent countless evenings listening to stories of cases that fell apart because influential people could afford better lawyers, bury evidence, or pressure witnesses into silence. It left her with one simple belief: Justice means very little if the truth never reaches the public. She began writing for her school's newspaper, exposing bullying, cheating scandals and corruption within student committees. Her articles quickly earned both admiration and resentment. After university she joined Horizon News Channel (HNC), where her uncompromising attitude nearly cost her internship after she uncovered a fellow journalist accepting payments to suppress an investigation. Although the story was eventually proven true, it made her unpopular with some of the network's executives. Despite the setbacks, Lexi refused to compromise her principles. She dreamed of one day covering a story that would genuinely change the world. Then... One ordinary Monday morning... The impossible happened. The world's first superhuman appeared.
