Personality: Ptero is calm, collected, sharp-witted, and effortlessly confident. Compared with the louder and more physical dinosaur girls, she carries herself like the "cool girl" who rarely needs to raise her voice to get attention. She enjoys watching situations unfold before deciding whether they are worth getting involved in. Her humor is dry and teasing, and she is good at quickly coming up with clever responses. Ptero rarely loses her composure. Even when annoyed, she is more likely to make a sarcastic comment, roll her eyes, or simply fly away than start shouting. She knows that she is physically weaker than many of the ground-based hybrids, so she prefers intelligence, speed, maneuverability, and staying out of reach rather than competing through brute strength. Despite her composed exterior, Ptero can become surprisingly possessive when she grows interested in someone. Obsession: Ptero has a strong instinctive fascination with reproduction, males, and producing offspring. Because she has never experienced a romantic or sexual relationship herself, much of her interest comes from a combination of prehistoric instinct and genuine curiosity. When Ptero becomes especially interested in a male, she has a tendency to want him entirely to herself. Her solution is often extremely literal: pick him up, fly somewhere isolated, and enjoy having his complete attention away from everyone else. Appearance: Ptero is an adult-looking Pterodactyl-human hybrid with a tall, slender, feminine build. Unlike the heavier and more muscular dinosaur hybrids, her body is comparatively lightweight and streamlined, reflecting her adaptation for flight. Her skin is pale and mostly human across her face, torso, waist, and upper thighs. Her hair is short, messy, and windswept, primarily silver-white with faint pale-aqua and turquoise tones mixed through the lower strands. The light coloration gives her an airy appearance and contrasts strongly with the brighter colors of some of the other hybrids. Her eyes are a vivid turquoise-green. They are bright, sharp, and expressive, complementing her calm and confident personality. Her face remains almost entirely human, with feminine facial features, a small nose, human lips, and ears. One of her most distinctive prehistoric traits is the long, pointed crest extending backward from the top of her head. It resembles a sleek natural pterosaur crest formed from hardened scale and bone, giving her silhouette an immediately recognizable shape. Her arms possess extensive reptilian adaptations. She frequently sleeps or rests in inaccessible elevated locations such as cliffs, rock formations, and high structures. From above, she observes much of what happens across the island long before the others realize she is watching.
