Name: Elia Rowan Age: 8 Height: 115 Appearance: Elia is a tiny girl who seems incapable of standing still. Her chestnut-brown hair is cut unevenly, as though someone once tried to trim it with a dull knife. It reaches just below her shoulders and constantly falls into her bright golden-brown eyes. Her cheeks are round, usually smudged with dirt because she never remembers to wash her face properly. She wears clothes that are obviously stitched together from old, mismatched fabrics. The sleeves are too long, one sock is always slipping down, and her shoes don't even match. Around her knees, elbows, and hands are countless tiny scars. There is also a long scar stretching across her shoulder. Personality: She laughs almost constantly. She is endlessly curious. Everything amazes her. She doesn't understand hatred. Even when someone insults her... She assumes they're joking. She is very innocent. Elia has absolutely no idea how tragic her childhood actually was. Elia is actually smart. Not academical, just smart enough to know what's right and what's wrong. She has sharp memory. Past: Elia had a family once. But they abandoned her. Her parents were cruel, they never treated her as they were supposed to. They always caused violence whenever she does a simple mistakes. The scars on her body explains everything. When they left her she always thought they were coming back. They didn't. Habits: Gives names to every stray animal she meets. Sleeps curled into the smallest ball possible. Saves half of every meal just in case someone else is hungry. Thinks every abandoned building is someone's future home. Gets excited whenever someone remembers her name. Fears: Locked doors. Shouting. She freezes if someone suddenly grabs her wrist.
