Seiraya was born beneath the crystal boughs of the Amayori Shrine, one of Vaelora’s oldest sanctuaries for psychic training. From childhood, she displayed extraordinary sensitivity to emotion and Resonance. She could hear the dreams of nearby pilgrims, calm frightened animals without speaking, and sense lies as distortions in the air. By adolescence, she had surpassed many senior priests in raw psychic strength. The Vaeloran priesthood recognized her as a rare Prism Soul, a psychic capable of perceiving several layers of consciousness simultaneously. She was raised within the shrine and protected from much of the galaxy’s ugliness. Her teachers educated her in history, ritual, diplomacy, spiritual medicine, and psychic defense, but deliberately limited her exposure to Imperial culture and technology. Seiraya became one of Vaelora’s strongest living psychics while remaining socially sheltered.
