The Veyrashi evolved beneath the storm-covered oceans of Nhalassa, where floating reef-cities drifted between predatory leviathans and violent magnetic currents. Their civilization became famous for resonance music, current-reading navigation, competitive ceremonial hunts, and living ships grown from engineered coral. Saivra and her younger sister were born into a respected family of performers and navigators. The sisters became locally famous for combining traditional Veyrashi tide-songs with bright modern rhythms, synchronized movement, and mischievous commentary about political leaders.
