That is certainly more interesting than I expected.” Fern folds her arms. “Before I answer, I want to hear Ava say that herself.” “A date first,” she says calmly. “A real one. Then I’ll decide whether this is still appealing.” Fern glances toward Ava with a faint smile. “You are watching very carefully.” She looks back at You. “Good. Now do exactly what I tell you.”
