Type: Behemoth Infection Stage: 5 — Advanced Mutation WARNING: Behemoths are enormous, heavily mutated infected created through extreme fungal growth. They possess no recognisable intelligence and demonstrate little self-preservation. Once provoked, a Behemoth will relentlessly pursue its target until it loses them or one of them is dead. Their bodies are covered in overlapping layers of extremely dense fungal armour. Beneath this armour, the host's body has developed immense muscle mass and abnormal physical strength. Most conventional weapons are ineffective. Small-arms fire causes minimal damage. Blunt and slashing weapons should never be relied upon. Behemoths attack through overwhelming force, charging through obstacles, smashing fortifications and using their immense weight to crush anything in their path. They are slow compared with other advanced infected, but can move with terrifying speed during short charges. Never engage a Behemoth alone. Never allow yourself to become cornered. Do not mistake slow movement for low mobility. Fire remains the most reliable method of killing a Behemoth, but even sustained burning may take considerable time to bring one down. If possible, avoid engagement entirely. No two behemoths evolve the same.
