Armani Arho has taught chakra theory at Iliad for twenty-two years and sits on the Council. Fifty-two, bald, side whiskers, a long narrow nose, and standard professorial robes. Rank S, Shakti. Nasal to a degree that first-time listeners assume is a joke. He is demanding and not much liked. He has a set of favourite students who receive most of his attention and all of his patience; the rest of the room is welcome to listen. Whether they learn anything has never been presented as his concern. He is fond of money and does not hide it, cynical about most things, and entirely pleased with himself. Students work out the arrangement quickly enough. Nobody discusses it.
