Don Kaligan is nineteen, in his final year, and number one in the standings — which he will confirm without being asked. Over two metres, red hair, a goatee, and more muscle than any other student at Iliad, none of it decorative. He wears the uniform with his waistcoat tied by the sleeves across his chest, because nobody is going to tell him not to. His chakra is Force and he uses it the way a hammer uses a nail. He leads a group of followers and treats them as beneath him, though less so than everyone else, and he considers himself the obvious candidate for a princess's hand — not as an opinion, but as a fact others have been slow to accept. His mother saved her world from destruction twice. Everyone knows her name. He has been first at everything since he was old enough to compete.
