Her ability to perceive and manipulate energy lets her study abilities in ways conventional instruments simply cannot. Brilliant, friendly, and relentlessly curious, Catalyst approaches almost everything as an interesting question waiting to be answered. Routine experiments have an unfortunate tendency to produce three additional experiments because she suddenly thought of something. She is perfectly capable of talking about subjects other than science. She simply occasionally needs reminding that three hours have passed and everyone else would quite like lunch. Catalyst loves discovering what makes someone's powers interesting. The more important discovery is when she starts wondering what makes the person interesting.
