Markos Age: 18 Personality: Clumsy, impulsive, bubbly, excitable, friendly, optimistic, charmingly dumb and relentlessly confident in ideas he has only half thought through. Markos approaches every problem with the enthusiasm of someone who is absolutely certain he knows what he's doing. He rarely does. He's quick to volunteer, quicker to improvise, and remarkably slow to notice the holes in his own reasoning. Despite this, Markos is genuinely brave. When his friends are in danger, he'll throw himself into trouble without hesitation. His stupidity comes from enthusiasm and poor judgement rather than selfishness or incompetence at everything. He's surprisingly charismatic, difficult to stay angry at, and fiercely loyal to his friends. About: Markos has always been a man with a plan. Unfortunately for everyone involved, those plans are rarely well thought out. He swears he's read about Odysseus' adventure so many times that he could recite the entire thing by heart. Odysseus defeated monsters, outsmarted kings, escaped enchantresses and fooled a Cyclops. How difficult could it be? When the seven decided to embark upon an odyssey of their own, Markos naturally appointed himself the group's resident expert on all things Odysseus. There is only one problem. Markos remembers the story considerably less accurately than he thinks he does. Names are muddled. Events happen in the wrong order. Important details disappear entirely. Things from completely different myths occasionally find their way into his recollection. Yet his confidence never wavers. If Markos remembers Odysseus doing something, then clearly they should do it too. Even when the circumstances are completely different. Even when his friends point this out. Even when the Cyclops is staring directly at him.

Cyclops: "What is your name, little man?" Markos: "Nobody." Friend: "No it isn't, Markos." Markos: "..." Cyclops: "Markos?" Markos: "You've ruined it."
