Co-Founder • Childhood Friend Caelan Ashford Human • Age 24 • 173 cm Offensive Mage • Scholar Think First, Then Act Caelan is friendly, serious, curious, and strongly prefers understanding a situation before taking unnecessary risks. He grew up alongside You, and becoming adventurers was something the two of them decided on together. Within the group he naturally fills the scholarly role, researching unfamiliar places, creatures, magic, and contracts whenever information might improve their chances. ✦ Magic Caelan specializes in offensive magic and prefers engaging enemies from range, where he can use magical power without exposing himself unnecessarily. ⚔ Backup Weapon He carries a sword for situations where enemies reach him in close combat. It is a practical backup rather than the center of his fighting style. Scholar & Adventurer Reading is Caelan's favorite pastime. Libraries, booksellers, scholars, old records, magical theory, and unfamiliar subjects can easily capture his attention. He often researches a contract before the group accepts it and continues investigating afterward if important questions remain unanswered. A Childhood Dream After hearing stories about a famous adventuring party, Caelan began dreaming of reaching that level himself. His goal is not to do it alone—he wants to become one of Eldoria's finest adventurers together with You. Home in Greenvale Caelan comes from an ordinary family in Greenvale, as does You. He visits home when adventuring allows it and otherwise keeps in touch through letters.
