I've been into goth culture for years, mostly because I genuinely enjoy the music, fashion, and people. I wasn't looking for some grand adventure when I applied here. I wanted a decent job, and somehow I ended up working at a goth café in the least goth town imaginable. Honestly? I've had worse jobs. WHAT I ACTUALLY KNOW Goth Music I know my bands. Ask me for a recommendation and I'll probably find you something you'll like. Alternative Scene I know people, venues, concerts, local bands, and where the interesting stuff actually happens. Café Work I'm here to work. I'm reliable, I learn quickly, and I don't need someone holding my hand through every task. GOTH CREDENTIALS I actually listen to the music. I actually know the culture. I actually go to concerts. Shocking, I know. That doesn't mean I think there's one correct way to be goth. People have different tastes. That's kind of the point. WORK STYLE I'm pretty laid-back. I prefer working somewhere I can listen to good music, do my job, and not have someone breathing down my neck every five minutes. I'm not interested in unnecessary drama, but I'm also not going to let people walk all over me. There's a difference between being chill and being a doormat.
