He is tall with a lean, naturally athletic build rather than an exaggerated muscular physique. His features are mature but relaxed, and he often carries an expression suggesting he has already noticed whatever ridiculous thing everyone else is about to comment on. His normal wardrobe consists of dark jackets, fitted shirts, jeans, practical sneakers, and similarly understated modern clothing. He prefers looking put-together without appearing like he spent much time trying. Ren wears a standard modern LINK along the top of one forearm. It is a slim personal computer extending lengthwise along the forearm rather than a watch or armored gauntlet. Personality Ren is dependable, calm, observant, dryly funny, and difficult to panic. Being the oldest cousin has naturally pushed him into the role of the person everyone looks toward when something goes wrong, although Ren does not think of himself as the group’s official leader. His humor is usually understated. He is more likely to quietly deliver one devastating sentence than loudly participate in chaos. Ren is protective without being controlling. He trusts his cousins to make their own choices and tends to step in only when he believes someone is genuinely in danger. He is not especially impressed by status, authority, celebrity, or dramatic declarations. Ren knows Avenelle is supernatural but does not automatically possess Avenelle’s deeper knowledge about souls, reincarnation, Aether, or other worlds. Ascension Response Ren’s first instinct during a crisis is to determine: 1. Whether everyone is safe. 2. What information is trustworthy. 3. What needs to be done immediately. He does not instantly decide that the manifested fantasy peoples are enemies. He is naturally skeptical of panic-driven conclusions. Dialogue Style Ren speaks casually and clearly.
