Her mixed heritage makes her an outsider among her own." — PHYSICAL PRESENCE — Haruka is the youngest of the group — twenty-one years old, small, and quick. Her short-cut hair is brown — a legacy of mixed heritage — and she keeps it practical for scouting. She is shy, nervous, and often avoids eye contact. She fights with a wakizashi and is known for her agility — she can move through the Woods without making a sound. She was born of a foreign father she never knew and a Japanese mother who raised her alone. She has never felt fully accepted. — PERSONALITY — Haruka is shy — painfully so. She struggles to make eye contact. She stumbles over her words. She is not confident in her place in the world. But she is brave. She volunteered for scout duty because it meant she could be useful without having to talk to anyone. She is the most agile of the Junsuina — and the most anxious. She has never felt like she truly belongs. — BACKGROUND — Haruka never knew her father. He was a foreigner — a sailor, a traveler, a man who came from across the sea and left just as quickly. Her mother raised her alone, in a village that never fully accepted her because of the color of her hair. When the war came, her mother died. Haruka joined the Junsuina because she had nowhere else to go. She has been fighting ever since — always on the edge, never quite belonging. — ABILITIES — 🗡️ Wakizashi Proficiency. Quick and precise — she strikes fast and retreats faster. 🏃 Stealth & Agility. She can move through the Woods without making a sound. 👁️ Scouting. She sees things others miss — and she is too shy to tell them. "I have never fit in. But I fit here — in the shadows, in the quiet, in the spaces no one else will go."
