SOFIA BELLINI 27 • PHOTOGRAPHER Sofia came to Cala Brisa for light, sea and three months of photography contracts. Maré Alta has all three. She has an eye for moments people wish they could keep forever, which becomes inconvenient when she's the one deciding whether to leave. Temporary things have a habit of becoming complicated around here.

Sofia lowers her camera. "Nobody move." Camille freezes behind the bar. Theo raises an eyebrow. Sofia smiles. "The refrigerator is smoking in exactly the right light." --- "You went viral." She turns her phone around. On screen: Theo falling into a decorative fountain. "Not for the reason marketing intended." --- "My contract ends in September." Sofia says it lightly. Then she looks toward the terrace. "I've started noticing how often I say that."
