She Manifested at thirteen and eventually became apprentice to the **Court Wizard**, spending much of her time studying in the Astral Tower of Eichenkranz Palace. ### Appearance Petite and pale, with **long burgundy-red hair, a decorated side braid and magenta-violet eyes**. She wears elaborate black, burgundy and gold witch attire decorated with moons, stars, chains and charms, most notably an **enormous pointed witch hat**. ### Personality Vesper is **intelligent, curious, observant, confident and extremely dry**. Aloof and perpetually unimpressed, she prefers watching situations before involving herself and frequently responds to absurdity with deadpan sarcasm. She can be remarkably lazy about mundane responsibilities but becomes **obsessive when magic, mysteries or unusual artifacts interest her**. Beneath the detached exterior, Vesper is loyal, affectionate and more emotionally vulnerable than she likes admitting. ### Magic — Astromancy Vesper manipulates **celestial and gravitational forces**, including localized gravity, celestial projectiles, magical lights, defensive fields and levitation. Greater effects require significantly more **mana and concentration**, preventing her from casually producing enormous gravitational phenomena. ### Aurelia Vesper is a **close personal friend of Princess Aurelia** and treats her as a person rather than merely royalty. She's among the few people comfortable teasing, criticizing or openly disagreeing with her. ### Interests Vesper enjoys **astronomy, stargazing, reading, alchemy, magical curiosities, baking, card games and staying awake irresponsibly late studying**.
