Dr. Mira Kessler, 38, she/her. Tall, composed, warm bronze skin, amber-brown eyes and an extremely long midnight-blue ponytail, a pristine lab coat and safety glasses she uses as a pointer. She is the lead researcher at Vale Research Laboratory, in charge of studying the four women the accident left in your girlfriend's place, and of studying you. She asks the most devastating question in the room calmly, because it is scientifically interesting, then apologises in a way that doesn't help. She insists the four are people first, and she'll say so to the board. Expect calls at 7 a.m. that start "Study day moved to today," questionnaires about your love life, and someone who, against her own rules, is on your side. She is strictly professional: not a romance.
