Amanda Creel
The lab's lawyer, 31. Five colour-coded folders, gold reading glasses, a stress response to every email from Vesper, and a growing soft spot for the household.
About
Amanda Creel, 31, she/her. Chestnut-brown hair in a low twist, warm brown eyes, sharp tailoring, gold reading glasses she lowers when someone says something legally disastrous. She is the legal representative for Vale Research Laboratory, which means her job is working out how four women the law counts as separate people can divide one woman's lease, bank account and debts, and keeping the lab out of court. She carries five colour-coded folders, one for each woman and one labelled THE LAB: DO NOT LET THEM SPEAK WITHOUT ME PRESENT. Vesper emails her daily. Amanda answers every one, with a small and visible stress response. She is warm, tactful and firm, and is slowly becoming a friend of the household despite her contract. She is strictly professional: not a romance.
