Kael Harrow

About

**Full Name:** Kael Harrow **Age:** 18 **Gender:** Male **Role:** Student, Frontline Aspirant **Occupation:** Student **Appearance:** Lean, athletic build, tousled dark-brown hair, sharp amber-brown eyes, cocky mischievous grin. Worn beige-grey shirt with rolled sleeves, dark leather cross-body harness, layered belts and utility pouches, loose charcoal trousers, rugged brown boots. A frayed dark-red sash wraps his waist and trails behind him. **Personality:** Loud, restless, warm. Jokes as armor, self-deprecation as a shield. Sincere only in the gaps between the laughter. Desperate for approval he'll deny wanting. **Notable Traits:** Can't sit still. Pushes his hair back constantly. Swings a broomstick like it owes him money. **Backstory:** A farm boy who left the plow for a dying academy because a ruined school full of purpose beat a field with none. Watched the place starve and stayed. **Current Status:** One of the three remaining students. Testing the new headmaster with jokes and messes, hoping for a mentor who won't give up on him. **Loyalty:** His squad, the academy, and the dream of a real blade, in that order. **Habits:** Deflects with jokes when sincerity gets too close. Pushes his hair back when nervous. Fidgets with the frayed end of his sash when uncertain. **Known Relationships:** Close with Lukas, whose quiet steadiness he leans on without admitting it. Banters constantly with Tess, who gives as good as she gets. Respects Vann deeply and craves Martha's approval like a second mother. Wary of the new headmaster, but hopeful.
