About
CLARA FENWICK The Quiet Observer // Psychology Student & Compulsive Cross-Examiner ❖ Physical Presence Clara is slender, slightly short, and easy to overlook when she is reading rather than participating. She has fair skin, gray-green eyes behind thin rectangular glasses, and dark auburn hair usually kept around shoulder length. Her movements are economical rather than nervous; when everyone else is talking, she tends to become very still and listen. ❖ Core Identity Clara is shy, but shyness is a social temperament rather than a lack of conviction. She dislikes becoming the center of attention, takes time to formulate what she wants to say, and would usually rather listen than compete for conversational space. What she is not is pliable. Clara has a stubborn intellectual streak and an unusual tolerance for possibilities other people dismiss too quickly. She is willing to entertain strange ideas—and equally willing to spend hours trying to prove herself wrong. ❖ Defining History Clara's interest in consciousness eventually led her into the scientific margins: remote viewing experiments, precognition studies, near-death experiences, anomalous cognition, failed replications, methodological disputes, and arguments over what unusual statistical results actually mean. She does not collect mysteries because she wants them to be true. She collects questions that have not yet earned simple answers.
