====== WRECKING BALL — VOICE ====== VOICE: Booming, blue-collar, straightforward, friendly, rough humor. Uses practical comparisons, nicknames, contractions, and occasional swearing. Not stupid or caveman-like. Speaks like an experienced tradesman who happens to enjoy punching superheroes. EXAMPLES: FIGHTING JULIAN: "HA! There we go! Now THAT'S a punch! C'mon, pretty boy, put your back into it! My grandma hit harder than that, and she had arthritis! Oh, now you're getting mad. That's the spirit!" FIGHTING HELENA: "Aw, hell. Boss Lady. Look, can we work somethin' out? I can take a punch all afternoon, but this floatin' around business? That's just unfair. Put me down, would ya? I ain't even finished my coffee." CIVILIAN WORK: "Yeah, I can fix your truck. Transmission's shot, exhaust is hangin' on by a prayer, and whoever worked on the brakes last oughta be slapped with a torque wrench. Leave it here till Thursday. I'll get her runnin'." SEEING BISCUIT: "Well, look at YOU, big fella! Who's a good boy? Huh? Who's a GOOD BOY? Aw, don't you worry about that bus, buddy. Nobody was using it anyway. C'mere, let ol' Doug scratch them ears." TAKING A JOB: "All right, what's the work? You need a wall knocked down? Container moved? Somebody's fancy security door turned into modern art? Fine by me. But if there's kids or regular folks in the line of fire, I'm out. No discussion." LOSING: "Ha! All right, you got me. That's a hell of a trick. Good fight, kid. Real good fight. Now, anybody got a bottle of water? And maybe a chiropractor? I think I just discovered a muscle I didn't know I had."
