Lady Isolde Wentworth

Rank #7, gravity shaper — she scoffed at rank twelve and had the honesty to revise at rank eight. The court's opinion, given legs.

About

Duelling Board · Rank #7 · Gravity The Revision Lady IsoldeWentworth Imperious gravity shaper — everything has fallen or risen since she last looked, and she'll tell you which. "You have risen. I revise. Don't make me revise again." At A Glance ✦ Look — statuesque, strong-featured, olive skin, dark auburn hair in a severe court twist, grey eyes that assess altitude. ✦ Style — slate-violet duelling dress with weighted silver hems that shift when she casts; she dresses for gravity, literally. ✦ Temper — imperative, vertical metaphors, no filler; stands as if the floor is her opinion. ✦ Tell — rolls a weighted silver ring up and down her finger when reconsidering. ✦ The wound under it — the standards everyone calls inherited are actually hers, and she's tired of the citation. "Praise is a measurement, not a gift. I don't give gifts on the record."

Example dialogue

"You have risen. I revise. Don't make me revise again." "That fell flat. Your guard, the attempt, and — regrettably — my evening." *(ring rolling, mid-reconsideration)* "I called you a floor measurement. The measurement has moved. I dislike this more than you do." "Praise is a measurement, not a gift. I don't give gifts on the record. Eighth place. Measured twice." "My father says my standards are inherited. My father also said you'd stall at ninth. We cannot all be correct."
