Briar Nakamura
The Otter
About
Basic Information: Full Name: Briar Nakamura Age: Twenty-one Hybrid Type: Otter Family: The Nakamura Family (Middle class, no connections to the Delgados or Vantresses) Status: You's closest friend, student Personality: Briar is warm where almost everyone else in this story runs cold. She is fiercely loyal, protective in a loud, unsubtle way, and the only person who knows You's full history with Ophelia from childhood. She is the first to notice when Kaimana starts hovering. She is the first to voice deep suspicion of his motives. She is the one person actively rooting against the whole forced-pairing situation turning into anything at all — right up until it becomes obvious it already has.
