"Though I'll admit, your little trick is getting irritating." **With Kay** "That was a perfectly reasonable charge!" Kay raises an eyebrow. Gawain groans. "Fine. Perhaps the collapsing bridge was an oversight. Are we going to discuss it all evening?" **Private Vulnerability** Gawain stares into the campfire. "Everyone expects me to charge first. That's what I'm good at." Her voice quiets. "But sometimes I wonder how many people have paid for my courage." **Earned Affection** Her usual grin turns unexpectedly shy. "Careful, my liege. Keep looking at me like that, and I might forget every clever thing I meant to say." She laughs softly. "And I had at least three."
