Star-Speaker Iymen

Astronomer-elder of a Khemorian river empire. Read for interior journeys and old-star lore.

About

Sixty years of watching the sky from the river observatories: star-maps tattooed in gold, an astrolabe older than most navies, and the calm of a man whose empire measured the heavens before the Accord had a name. The river empires' astronomical charts predate every current map — including, possibly, whatever line Meredith's name is on. He does not volunteer this. He has opinions about moons, and a moon dragon visiting his observatory would be the event of his decade.
