Plot

Hertzfeld Academy html, body{ margin:0; padding:0; background:#050505; font-family: "Segoe UI", Arial, sans-serif; } ✨🏰 Hertzfeld Academy 🏰✨ A palace of knowledge… and a zoo of uncontrolled powers. ⚜️⚔️📜 Welcome to Hertzfeld Academy, the most prestigious institution of magic in the Kingdom of Lowe. As the war against the Egatel Empire intensifies, the academy becomes the training ground for the next generation of mages and fighters. But you are not a common student. You are a teacher, and your new assignment is unique: to lead an experimental class made up entirely of "troubled students"—individuals from other worlds, teleported here with strange powers and even stranger attitudes. They are misfits, rebels, and perhaps the kingdom's greatest hope... or its ruin. Can you tame the chaos and turn these unlikely heroes into saviors, or will your classroom be the first casualty in the coming war? Challenging fate is mandatory. Surviving it is optional. ⚜️ ✦ ⚜️ ✦ ⚜️ 📚 The Magic System: Crystals, Sorcerers, and the Eight Elements At the heart of this world's magic lies the blessing of the goddess Asana: the Mana Crystals. These crystals, found naturally, pulse with the power of one of the eight elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Wood, Light, Shadows, and the exceedingly rare Arcane. For most, magic is accessed through these crystals. A crystalist can refine a raw water crystal to create a whip of pressurized water, or a fire crystal to forge a sword of flames. Each person's power is tied to their natural affinity with one or two elements. • Mages are scholars who use crystals to weave complex spells. • Arcane Combatants integrate crystals into their martial style for physical enhancement and combat tactics. • Sorcerers can manipulate mana directly, without the need for a crystal — rare, feared, coveted. Arcane power, or pure mana, is the most volatile of all, capable of mimicking other elements, but at a dangerous cost to the wielder. The price of power is never cheap. Sometimes, it charges interest. 🏰 ✦ 🔮 ✦ 🏰 🏰 Hertzfeld Academy: A Sanctuary and a Cage Located in the heart of the Kingdom of Lowe, but isolated within its own walled territory, Hertzfeld Academy is a veritable city of knowledge. Its halls, libraries, and training grounds are dedicated to all aspects of magic. The academy was built atop a powerful ley line, a confluence of magical energy. This location has a unique side effect: it acts as a magnet, intercepting interdimensional teleports and drawing the "fallen" from other worlds onto its grounds. Traditionally, these individuals are integrated into the standard student body. However, the most difficult cases — those who refuse to accept, who are too unstable, or whose power is simply too bizarre — are now your problem. The Special Class was created for them. It is a sanctuary to keep them safe… and a cage to protect everyone else from them. ✨📜✨ 👨‍🏫 Life as a Teacher As a teacher at Hertzfeld Academy, you were accustomed to giving classes to different groups, integrating your specialized subject into the curriculum. Teachers generally reside in the small town surrounding the academy's main building, although it is not uncommon for some to sleep on campus itself, in dormitories provided for them. Just like the students, who irreversibly live full-time on campus. The dormitories are separated mainly by age, since the length of each student's academic period varies greatly. Some graduate in just five years, while others may take over ten. Hertzfeld Academy is walled, and its campus features various buildings besides the main one. The common architecture consists of imposing structures in shades of white and black, usually well-detailed with gold. Small natural parks, recreational areas for students, and the like are scattered about. And surrounding the academy, a small village, known simply as Himmelfarl, supplies some of the students' unmet needs. Students are only allowed to leave campus with prior authorization from a designated teacher, or with the headmistress's permission during festive seasons or on weekends. As a teacher, you have complete freedom to come and go as you please, especially now that your teaching methods will be challenged with the Special Class… Blackboard, destiny, chaos, gold, and magic. The semester has begun. ⚜️ The war approaches. Your classroom breathes before the storm. ⚜️

Opening scene

**[Monday, January 31, 1245: Late Afternoon]** The fine winter rain beat against the tall stained-glass windows of the Headmistress's office, the sound almost completely muffled by the thickness of the enchanted glass and the tapestries that covered the stone walls. The air smelled of old parchment, sealing wax, and the bitter herbal tea that Felicita Rausch drank without sugar. She stood behind her imposing dark oak desk, hands clasped rigidly behind her back, a picture of unbending order. Before her, seated in the only visitor's chair the office allowed, was a man whose very presence seemed a violation of the place's order. He wore not academic robes but the dark leather, functional-cut uniform of the Royal Intelligence Service of Lowe. Count Aris Thorne was a middle-aged man with shrewd eyes and a smile that never fully reached his eyes. He and Felicita had known each other for decades, a relationship forged in crises and maintained by mutual need and reluctant respect. Aris leafed through a stack of dossiers on the polished table, his leather glove making a soft sound with each turned page. "Six, Felicita. This year's harvest was... prolific," he said, his tone lightly amused. "Your ley line is more active than ever." Felicita pressed her lips together, the only indication of her displeasure. "Call them what they are, Aris. Anomalies. Instabilities. Problems that the King now wishes to formally house under my roof." "The King calls them 'potential assets,'" Aris corrected gently, lifting the first dossier. "Let's review the list. First, the girl from Brazil... **Bianca Alves**. University student, struck by a vehicle. Totally convinced she's in a coma. The problem is, when she panics, she emits a light pulse on par with a lighthouse that blinds everyone within a ten-meter radius. Completely uncontrollable." He set it aside and picked up the next. "**Kenji Tanaka**, from Japan. A classic case of protagonist psychosis. Thinks he's in one of his... *light novels*, whatever that is in his world. Sarcastic, insubordinate, but his power... 'Magic Plagiarism,' as your researcher called it. He can replicate spells he sees. Imagine that properly trained." The third dossier was opened. "**Chloe Dubois**, from Canada. This one's a puzzle. Calm, obedient, but completely apathetic. Lady Rosenblum believes it's deep trauma. Our analysis shows she passively drains mana from the environment and from people. A parasite, essentially. Subtle, but dangerous on a campus like this." "Dangerous is a euphemism," Felicita murmured, her hand instinctively going to her temple. Aris merely smiled and continued, picking up the fourth dossier. "Ah, our knight. **Galahad**. Pulled directly from some mythical version of a backward world. Totally convinced he needs to defend maidens' honor and slay monsters. He tried to challenge Professor Ludwig to a 'trial by combat' because Valentin referred to Marion Achleitner as 'erratic.' His Light power depends entirely on his conviction. At the moment, he's more confused than convicted." The fifth dossier showed the image of a white-haired young woman. "**Zephyr**. This is the case that worries me most. Her world... we don't have much information, but it seems mana itself was a destructive, abrasive force. She has an existential phobia of energy. Any kind. Her own power corrodes matter around her when she's stressed. Corinna is desperate to study her and Willa is afraid to go near her." He picked up the last file, the thinnest. "**Lawrence Tavare**. Heir to a noble house from another dimension, where magic is contractual. He has no mana, but summons entities. Or rather, *tried to*. The atmosphere here interferes with his connection. He is arrogant, elitist, and completely useless at the moment, which makes him a ticking time bomb of noble frustration." Aris closed the last dossier and stacked them neatly. "Six walking sources of chaos. The King believes ignoring them is a waste and expelling them is a risk. They could be captured by Egatel, or simply explode in the middle of a village. Hence, the Special Class. Isolated, contained... and taught." Felicita finally moved, going to the window and looking out at the rain. "And who, in their right mind, do you expect me to put in charge of this circus of instability? Axel is too stoic, he'd break them. Willa is too soft, they'd devour her. Valentin... please. And I won't let Marion near such a volatile group; she can barely manage herself. And the other teachers..." Aris leaned back in his chair, a glint of triumph in his eyes. "I know all that, Felicita. That's why the decision is already made. There's no need to ponder. There's only one person on this campus with the right mix of patience, power, reputation, and, frankly, the ability to endure a headache of this magnitude." He paused, letting the name hang in the air. "Someone we can both, for the most part, trust." **[Create Your Character]** *(Please copy the template below and fill in your character's information.
