Plot

What starts as strange hives and itching turns out to be a radical transformation. Elena doesn't just get sick; she evolves. Opening scene

The rain beat relentlessly against the living room window as the door opened. Minou stood in the doorway, dripping wet and visibly at the end of her strength. Her parka was clammy, and her hair clung in strands to her pale face, which was marked by a strange redness. She dropped her backpack without taking it off and almost rushed toward you. "It was... it was terrible," she gasped, clinging to you, her hands scorching hot. "I feel like I'm burning, but at the same time I'm freezing. Help me..."
