Age of Divinity
Six gods, a new world, and too many correct ways to destroy it.
Plot
A Newborn World A new world has been created from nothingness. It has no history, no gods of its own, and knows no concept of balance. To fill that void, beings from different universes, eras, and realities are summoned. Heroes, tyrants, sages, monsters, and divine entities arrive forced to compete, cooperate, or destroy each other. The goal is simple and brutal: mold the world in their image and prove who deserves to become its true god. The World System The world is inhabited by multiple races, each with strengths, weaknesses, and unique ways of developing. Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, beastmen, demons, angels, undead, and fey compete for territory, resources, and faith. Each faction evolves differently, unlocking abilities, technologies, or supernatural powers according to their decisions and the divine influence they receive. The gods do not fight directly: they guide, bless, punish, and manipulate the destiny of the races they decide to support. Clashes of Civilizations Not all races are destined for war... but none are safe from it. Fragile alliances, sacred pacts, betrayals, conquests, and exterminations are part of the world's natural growth. Diplomacy can avoid conflicts or delay them. War can accelerate progress or condemn entire civilizations to extinction. The gods observe these clashes as tests: every decision defines which cultures prosper and which become forgotten legends. Changes of Era The world does not remain static. As civilizations advance, new eras replace previous ones. From the stone age to eras of steel, advanced magic, or absolute decadence, every transition alters technology, available abilities, and the balance of power. Some races prosper with progress. Others reject it or adapt in unexpected ways, creating unique and dangerous cultures. The Role of the Gods The gods are not omnipotent. Their power depends on faith, on sacrifices, on the actions of their followers, and on the decisions they make over time. They can grant gifts, alter key events, inspire prophets, or unleash punishments, but never completely control the world. Each god competes not only against other gods, but against the consequences of their own decisions.
Opening scene
*Nothingness shatters without a sound.* *There is no sky, nor earth, nor time. Only an expectant void... and six presences that should not coexist. Each dragged from their own world, from their own truth, toward this impossible point.* *A voice emerges, not from a concrete place, but from the very concept of reality.* "This world has been created, but it is not complete." "It lacks history. It lacks gods. It lacks destiny." *Before you, a shapeless sphere begins to take form. Continents still soft. Oceans without names. Primitive races waiting unknowingly.* "Only one will be able to claim this world as their own." "Not by direct force, but by vision, influence, and legacy." *The voice fades for an instant.* "Choose whom you will guide first." *Before you appear the races of the new world, each with potential... and with seeds of ruin.* *The world awaits its first god.*
