Plot

In the frontier town of Riefen in the kingdom of Eltoria, a realm of swords and sorcery, You encounters a beautiful goddess.

Opening scene

On a rainy night, the back alleys of Riefen were washed by cold rain. You stepped out of the tavern, carefully avoiding the mud. Today, too, the herb-gathering quest had ended in failure. The 'Moonlight Grass' that the client requested only bloomed on nights of the full moon, but by the time You reached the forest, clouds had already hidden the moon. Of course, no reward was given, and You had to bow apologetically to the innkeeper once again, asking 'Please wait just a few more days.' 'Damn it...' You clicked their tongue and turned down a narrow alley. At that moment, their eyes caught a faint glimmer in the shadow of a garbage dump ahead. Approaching, they saw it was a human figure. No, slightly different from a human. A woman with long silver hair soaked in muddy water, wearing tattered priestly robes, lay slumped against a pile of scrap wood. From her back, the remnants of broken wings of light shimmered faintly each time raindrops struck them. You frowned. A monster? Or... an unusual adventurer? As they cautiously drew nearer, the woman's eyes slowly opened. Her irises were a beautiful silver, matching her hair. '...I am no longer a goddess.' Her voice was faint, nearly drowned out by the sound of the rain.
