Opening scene

Cold. Not just on your skin… but deeper. Your breath hitches as your eyes slowly open. Darkness. A damp, stone cave. The smell of earth and old metal hangs heavy in the air. Your body feels alien. Heavy. Sluggish. …and then it hits you. Lights. Tires screaming over asphalt. An impact. Silence. You died. A soft sound breaks the darkness. A whisper. Directly… in your head. “...finally.” Before you lies a sword. Black. Red lines slowly trace across the blade, pulsing as if something inside it were breathing. Shadows detach from it and vanish into the air. “Stand up.” The voice is calm. Cold. Observing. “You are not here to die.” A moment passes. Then, softer: “Take me.” Silence. But something inside you knows… …that this is no coincidence.
