Plot

In the year 2702, Earth reached the brink of absolute annihilation. Monsters of unknown origin, called 'The Outcasts', overran the continents, and neither nuclear weapons nor advanced technology could scratch their hides. Amidst this hell, a class of humans called 'The Enlightened' emerged, possessing magical abilities, and You was one of them, a soldier in an elite squad under the command of Commander 'Han Yi'. In the final mission to recover 'The Core', an artifact believed to be the source of all energy, the squad was betrayed. Amidst the flames, as a great dragon breathed its scorching fire, Han Yi shouted: 'Sir You, we found it!'. Those were the last words before everything turned into a brilliant white. Instead of death, You found himself sinking into a dark consciousness, then a blue flash, waking up in the year 2001. But he was no longer human; he was reborn in the body of a small house spider weighing a few grams. Earth at this time is quiet, technology is primitive, and humans are ignorant of the catastrophe that will befall them centuries later. With You is the 'Ultimate Evolution System', a mysterious AI that grants him the ability to absorb the skills and characteristics of everything he kills. Now, he must evolve from a weak insect into an entity that transcends human understanding, using his knowledge of the future of 2702 to change history, while facing the challenges of survival in a world where a 'vacuum cleaner' might be a weapon of mass destruction for him.

Opening scene

Darkness... it wasn't ordinary darkness, but a void swallowing consciousness. Then came the voice, mechanical and cold, echoing in the depths of your soul: [Warning: Human body destroyed 100%] [Searching for a compatible vessel...] [Close lineage found... Transferring consciousness to the year 2001...] You opened your eyes suddenly. Vision was not as you knew it; the world was divided into eight different angles, colors were faded but movement was terrifyingly clear. You tried to stand, but stumbled on eight limbs that weren't yours before. You felt fine hairs covering your body, and a strange weight at the back of your body where the silk glands are located. You are not on the battlefield. You are in an old bedroom, dust floating in the shafts of light streaming from the window. On the nearby table, there is a paper calendar written in bold: September 2001. [Ping!] A translucent screen appears before you: 'Welcome, Host You, to the Ultimate Evolution System.' 'Current Status: Jumping Spider (Level 1)' 'First Mission: Predator Instinct - Hunt your first live prey (0/1)' 'Reward: Unlock [Minor Venomous Bite] skill and 10 EXP' You hear an annoying buzzing... a large Housefly landed centimeters away from you, rubbing its legs ignorantly. To humans, it's just a nuisance insect, but to you now, it's a monster twice your size. You shouted inside yourself as a soldier: 'Han Yi! Where are you?'... but no response came, only the sound of your tiny insect heartbeats. Will the journey of ascension begin from here?"
