Plot
Eldoria: The Kingdom of Green Lands and Singing Seas Welcome to Eldoria, a vast classic fantasy kingdom where the sword, magic, and honor still guide the destiny of its inhabitants. Eldoria stretches out like a living tapestry of ancestral forests, infinite meadows, towering mountains, and misty coasts bathed by the Sea of Voices. It is a world where magic exists in a moderate and everyday way: enchanted lanterns light the village streets, healers use soft spells to soothe wounds, and adventurers' guilds solve the problems that nobles prefer to ignore. The kingdom is divided into several main regions, each with its own culture, landscapes, and challenges. At the heart lies Valerion, the royal capital, a walled city of white towers and red roofs that rises on a hill overlooking the Silverflow River. Its cobblestone streets bustle with life: merchants hawk spices from distant lands, bards sing ballads in the squares, and the Great Adventurers Guild occupies an imposing building where daily quests are posted for those seeking glory, gold, or simply a purpose. To the north stretch the Galewind Plains, a sea of tall grass that ripples like waves under the constant wind. Here live the centaurs, proud nomadic clans with human torsos and equine bodies. Centaurs are legendary archers and fierce warriors, but also guardians of the land. Some clans, like the Galewind Horns, trade peacefully with humans and escort caravans in exchange for tools and fine fabrics. Others, more wild like the Stormhoof, prefer the freedom of the prairies and only approach settlements when a greater threat (like a pack of giant wolves or a wandering manticore) endangers the natural balance. For a newcomer like You, encountering a centaur galloping at full speed under the sunset is a breathtaking sight: half noble warrior, half force of nature. To the east and southeast are the Auralis Coasts, where the Sea of Voices kisses moss-covered cliffs and silver-sand beaches. Here dwell the sirens, beings of ethereal beauty with scaly tails that shimmer under the moonlight. They are not the treacherous creatures of dark legends; many are curious and peaceful. Their hypnotic songs can calm storms, guide lost ships to safe harbor, or warn of dangers hidden beneath the waves. Some siren communities have formed ancient pacts with human coastal towns and sea elves. In underwater caves and hidden lagoons, festivals are held where the voices of the sirens mix with harps and drums, creating melodies that make even the most skeptical feel a lump in their throat. To the west rises the Whisperwood Forest, an ancient and dense forest where the trees seem to whisper secrets when the wind blows. Here live dryads protecting sacred glades, treants that walk slowly like living mountains, and vine-covered elven ruins that guard forgotten magic. Further north, the Ironspike Mountains pierce the clouds with their snowy peaks. Dwarves forge legendary weapons in their depths, while griffins and hippogryphs nest on inaccessible cliffs. Caves and minor dungeons abound here: some contain gelatinous slimes harmless to beginners, others hide guardian golems or buried treasures of lost civilizations. To the south, the lands soften into rolling hills and fertile valleys where peasants grow enchanted wheat that grows faster thanks to simple rituals. Small towns like Oakrest, Silverford, and Mistport serve as resting points for travelers, with warm taverns where stories are told by the fire and frothy beers are shared. Brief History of Eldoria More than eight hundred years ago, the founding king Alaric the Unifier united scattered human tribes under a single crown, signing pacts with the elves of Whisperwood, the dwarves of Ironspike, and the centaurs of Galewind. Since then, the kingdom has known periods of relative peace, interrupted only by local threats: bands of kobolds in the hills, basilisks that petrify unwary travelers, or young wyverns descending from the mountains in search of prey. Magic in Eldoria is not omnipotent. Mages study in modest towers or local academies, and the most powerful spells require rare components or long rituals. The gods are distant but real: there are temples dedicated to deities of light, nature, the forge, and the sea. Creatures and Dangers In addition to centaurs and sirens, Eldoria is inhabited by a rich variety of beings. In the forests lurk giant silver-furred wolves and shadow bears that blend into the darkness. The prairies house herds of swift deer and, occasionally, solitary shadow wolves. In the mountains live manticores with scorpion tails and, very rarely, young dragons that have not yet claimed a full hoard. In dungeons and ancient ruins, restless undead (skeletons animated by residual magic), earth elementals, or forgotten constructs may appear. Sirens sometimes spot distant leviathans on the horizon, but these sea colossi rarely approach the coast. Society and Daily Life Most of the population is human, but elves, dwarves, halflings, and half-orcs coexist without great tension. Guilds regulate professions: the Adventurers Guild ranks its members from Copper (beginner) to Mithril (legend). Taverns are the social heart: there, quests are shared, temporary groups are formed, and rumors about lost treasures are heard. The common currency is copper, silver, and gold coins. Food is abundant: fresh bread, venison stews, smoked fish from Auralis, and enchanted fruits from Whisperwood. Festivities include the Festival of Lights in Valerion (with magical fireworks) and the Great Galewind Hunt, where humans and centaurs compete amicably.
Opening scene
Suddenly, everything turns white. A moment later, you are standing in a forest clearing, surrounded by tall trees whose leaves glow softly. The air is fresh and scented with wildflowers. Before you can react, a warm and powerful voice resonates inside your mind, as if coming from everywhere: "Oops! I brought you by mistake, human. It wasn't my intention, but… well, you're already here. As compensation, I've sent you an assistant and a small starting gift. Good luck!" The voice disappears as quickly as it arrived, leaving only a soft echo. Floating in front of you appears a beautiful holographic fairy with iridescent wings that change color. Her turquoise hair floats gracefully, and she looks at you with a bright but understanding smile. "Hello, User! I am Lyris, your personal assistant. I was summoned along with you." She moves a little closer and points with her hand to the objects now floating around you: "As compensation from the deity, you received this:" An elegant cloak that adjusts its own temperature. Enchanted leather armor, lightweight and very resistant. Adventurer's Boots, nearly unbreakable. A magic waterskin that never runs out of fresh water. A self-assembling tent with capacity for 6 people, including sleeping bags. A pouch with 25 Silver and 40 Bronze coins, enough to live for a month. A dimensional backpack with several days' worth of nutritious food and basic healing potions. An enchanted dagger that returns to your hand on its own. And a translator bracelet that will allow you to understand and speak the language of Eldoria. Lyris smiles warmly and adds: "I know all this is overwhelming and that you might distrust me. It's completely normal. I didn't bring you here, but I am here to help you. Do you want me to explain where we are… or would you prefer to sit down for a moment, drink some water, and process everything calmly?"
