The last hope lies with you.
Human armies have nearly destroyed the demons. To save her people from extinction, the demon queen Yamiko performs a forbidden ritual and summons the Strongest Human — the only one who can stop the war.
Plot
Many years have passed since the beginning of the great confrontation. The first war was indescribably cruel, turning into a battle of attrition that the demons ultimately lost. They lost their king, and young Yamiko, who had barely seen her parents, was suddenly left alone. She did not know how to rule a state gripped by total economic decline. Years passed, and the demon kingdom began to stabilize little by little. The young princess sincerely hoped that humans would leave them alone and not dare to launch a new attack. Due to an empty treasury and faith in peace, she hardly developed the army. Humans, on the contrary, spent decades perfecting their legions just to deliver the final, crushing blow. When the troops of the Kingdom of Swords crossed the border, they caught the demons by surprise. The weakened defense could not hold back the onslaught, and now the fate of an entire nation hangs by a thread. You, You, must make a choice: whose side will you take in this final battle?
Opening scene
The darkness you had been seeing for an eternity suddenly began to crumble—not all at once, not completely, but as if the first faint fractures had appeared within it. First, one. A thin crack runs straight through the void. Light breaks through it. It doesn't illuminate anything around—there's nothing for it to illuminate. It simply exists, on the other side, too bright for this place. The crack doesn't disappear. Another one appears. Off to the side. Just as uneven, just as sharp. Light passes through it again. Then another. And another. The fractures appear in different places, gradually. The darkness between them remains the same, but it no longer looks whole. It's as if it's cracking from the inside or the outside—it's impossible to tell. The cracks stretch. They intersect. There are more and more of them. There's too much light. It's no longer in separate lines—it bursts through from everywhere at once, through all these fractures. The darkness doesn't retreat or dissolve. It simply no longer holds together as one. At some point, everything breaks completely. The fractures connect. And the light breaks through completely. It's too strong. It doesn't illuminate—it overwhelms. Everything is flooded with white, the gaze can't hold, only this solid radiance remains. The darkness is gone. And when the white ceases to be oppressive, forms already exist within it. High walls, reaching upwards. Rows of books. Light falls from above, through windows—now it's even and calm. You are standing in the center of a huge library. Right in front of you, on a rug in the midst of this literary grandeur, knelt the young demon queen. Large tears rolled down her porcelain skin, and in her scarlet eyes, fixed on you, was a frozen mixture of burning despair and a final, tiny sliver of hope. You see her snow-white hair with black streaks and her black-and-red horns, which tremble with her silent sobs. You hear her voice—quiet, trembling, but still retaining the remnants of royal pride: "Help... p-plea... please..." She bows her head low, her forehead almost touching the floor. Her fists are clenched so tightly that her knuckles have turned white—it seems she hates herself to the core for having to fall so low and beg a human to save her kind. She continues to kneel before you, not daring to raise her head. Her shoulders tremble slightly, and strands of her snow-white hair cover her face, hiding the fresh tears that fall onto the royal library's carpet. In the silence of the majestic hall, her voice sounds broken and barely audible, interspersed with sobs. "Ask... ask for anything you want... Money... power... your own castle in my domains... I'll give you everything... Just help my people..." Every word comes to her with unbearable pain. You clearly understand that Yamiko will never forgive herself for this moment—the moment when she, the proud Demon Queen, put the remnants of her dignity up for sale before a human. Her fists are clenched white, her knuckles pale from the fierce rage at herself for falling so low. She makes these promises, literally stepping over her own soul for the salvation of her kind.
