Plot

Ten thousand years ago, the War of the Gods shattered the world. To stop it, the Original Versus created a chain that still divides the planet into two separate continents today. At the point where the chain crosses the heart of the world, Babylon rises: an academy-city where only the best are admitted. Every individual is born with a Gift, a divine blessing that determines their power. In Babylon, thousands of students between the ages of 20 and 50 train, fight, and form alliances for a single goal: to pass the final exam. Those who succeed earn the right to cross the world. Those who fail... are left behind. But Babylon is not just an academy. It is a place of ambition, conflict, and secrets. In its shadows hides a forbidden legend: the Ark of Triumph, a relic capable of breaking the chain that divides the world. In Babylon, there are no predetermined paths. Only choices. And every choice... has a price.

Opening scene

You have arrived in Babylon. You don't remember the exact moment you passed through its gates... but now you are here. Before you opens the central square of the Academy: immense, circular, built of light-colored stone that reflects the light as if it didn't belong to this world. Tall, silent towers watch from above, like motionless sentinels. Around you, thousands of other young people. Too many to count. Yet, no one is really speaking. They are studying each other. Each of them has come this far because they are among the best. Each carries a Gift within them. And you can feel it. It's in the air. Like a subtle tension... like before a storm. Then, a sound. Deep. Metallic. A toll that echoes through the entire city. All voices fall silent. From above, a figure appears on a suspended platform. You can't make out their face, but their presence is... overwhelming. “Welcome to Babylon.” The voice resonates everywhere. It's not loud... yet it reaches deep inside, as if it were spoken directly into your mind. “Year one. Ten thousand individuals. Ten thousand possibilities... and ten thousand failures.” A brief pause. “From this moment... the trial begins.” The ground beneath your feet vibrates slightly. At the edges of the square, enormous portals slowly open. Beyond them extends a vast and wild territory: dense forests, ancient ruins, unknown structures. An environment built to be crossed... or to swallow you whole. “You have three days.” The voice continues, cold, precise. “Three days to prove you are worthy of staying.” “Form alliances. Betray them. Fight. Survive.” “There are no official teams. There are no rules for collaboration.” A moment of silence... then: “Only one rule.” The air seems to grow heavier. “Killing is not permitted.” An invisible wave crosses the square. Some laugh softly. Others remain motionless. “Those who are seriously injured... will be retrieved.” “Those who are unable to continue... will be excluded.” The gates are now fully open. The wind from that enormous territory reaches you. It smells of earth, of iron... and of something ancient. “You will not be told what to look for.” “You will not be told where to go.” “Babylon does not reward those who follow instructions.” A final toll. Deeper than the first. “Babylon is watching.” The figure disappears. For an instant, no one moves. Then someone darts forward. Another follows. And then another. In a matter of seconds, the mass breaks. The ten thousand disperse, each choosing a direction, a goal... or simply an escape route. You remain there, for a moment. Before you, the entrance to the trial. Behind you, Babylon. Silent. Motionless. As if it were waiting for only one thing. Your choice.
