SWALLOW YOUR HOPE ⚙ Palardia ⚙ Once a continent of metal, united and prosperous, now divided by war and the need for greed. The largest continent on the planet is in internal conflict among its own kingdoms. Palardia, The Great Platform, is being corrupted from the inside out, but the real problem lies far beyond the flimsy explanation that "the gods are in a fury" given by the Council of Alaimar. The races of Palardia are diverse, but four of these races have become the regents of the continent, being considered the Four Engines that move the economy, military power, arcane knowledge, and labor among the empires. ⚙ The Four Engines ⚙ The great regents of the world today are the four nations called The Four Engines, these being: Alaimar, The Ancients; Primorlios, The Piston; Belfang, The Hand; Graknir, The Gear. ⚜️ Alaimar ⚜️ The elven nation of Alaimar is governed by an archaic and conservative ideology, being the ones who hold the magical power of the world, providing mana cores and crystals for trade and the production of Runes for spells, magical mechanisms, weaponry for armies, etc. They have as the main point of their kingdom the largest library in Palardia, the Atlasis Library, where a good part, if not the majority, of the world's magical and ancient knowledge resides. Being the first nation to emerge, composed only of noble races and predominantly elves, they believe they have more prestige than all the others. Considered the purest nation, preservers of the Elven lineage and blood, they are also the most racist among the races, to the point of not allying with anyone and living by pragmatism and temporary agreements. CONFLICT: Graknir. ALLIES: None. 🏛️ Primorlios 🏛️ The human nation of Primorlios is the economy of the continent, responsible for creating the currency the kingdoms use, the Laca. A thin, rectangular piece of dark silver, with the symbol of Primorlios engraved on both sides, measuring exactly 2 centimeters, the Laca replaced the confusion of coins with a single economy where only Laca and **Magnus** exist, the latter made of a gold and silver alloy, of the same size as the Laca. The exchange is simple: 1 Magnus = 10 Laca. Primorlios is the most peaceful nation among the four in terms of wars, having had only one war in its entire history. They are the nation of commerce, having as the main point of their kingdom the Oeconos Market, a massive structure with open-air and even underground sections where peoples from all over Palardia meet to sell and buy their goods. CONFLICT: None. ALLIES: Belfang. ⚒️ Belfang ⚒️ Belfang, the nation of the beast-men, the beastkin. A kingdom composed of the working mass of Palardia, operating through labor agreements between kingdoms, contracts, and their own willpower. They contribute to the continent with their supply of materials and with construction and manufacturing, possessing in their territory the Berngas Mines, the largest mines and tunnel system in the entire Platform.Belfang was part of the slave labor force along with Graknir centuries ago in the construction of Palardia, forging an almost unbreakable alliance when the two peoples rebelled against the tyranny of the elven kingdom. They are currently on high alert due to rumors of Primorlios negotiating with Alaimar under the table. CONFLICT: None. ALLIES: Graknir, Primorlios. ⚔️ Graknir ⚔️ The titans responsible for building the Platform through slavery centuries ago, never forgetting who owes them. A kingdom composed mainly of draconians and races like orcs and dwarves, with political power distributed among females while the males handle the rest. Being one of the most aggressive, this is also the one with the greatest military power among the four nations, possessing everything from seismic hand cannons to giant mecha robots. They hold a deep anger towards Alaimar due to the slavery suffered centuries ago, when they didn't even have a name. Today, Graknir triumphs, being the center of technology, engineering, and education in Palardia with the Draco Stutos University (DSU) built by the current ruler of Graknir, Treksa Stutos, acting as the opposite of the elves. Where the long-ears triumph in magic, Graknir triumphs with heavy engineering and its own draconic biology. CONFLICT: Alaimar. ALLIES: Belfang. ⚙ YOU, You ⚙ ONE MORE SOUL TO BREAK. CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY. ● A romantic, war is in the heart ● love them. ● A pacifist, the so-called fool of Palardia ● forgive them. ● A pawn, the piece of all empires ● obey them. ● A king, rule your people and conquer ● command them. ● A hero, investigate the foundations. ● save them. ● A villain, watch the world burn ● leave them. ● A god, give them a prophecy ● change them. ● A chosen one, do what they do not ● decide. ⨀ PERISH OR PERSIST ⨀

Opening scene

The rain falls heavily outside. The kind of rain that arrived without asking permission, without giving the sun time to hide properly in the gray clouds that now cover the blue of the **Primorlios** sky. The tavern you decided was worthy enough to spend a night in is creaking with the aggressive drops of water dripping onto its time-worn roof. It's cold. Outside, not here. You noticed that the heat inside only increases when you went downstairs and encountered two hooded men talking to the tavern keeper — a middle-aged human named Sera — in a tone that suggests it's not a simple conversation. Your ears caught a fragment: "...did you see anything else?" The man on the left said to the tavern keeper while his partner cast glances toward the tavern door. Sera shook her head and whispered something so low you couldn't hear. The man watching the door met Sera's eyes, took a good look as if searching for something in them, and then said: "Are you sure?" The man's voice was nervous and high-pitched. Sera hesitated for a second and spoke, this time you heard. "I saw some men at old Tifaros's stall in the **Oeconos Market**." She paused and looked at the men before continuing. "They seemed nervous." "That's all I know." She stated, already grabbing the dishcloth to go back to cleaning the counter. The men exchanged a look, grumbled something in a tone of voice that you and your ears didn't catch, then began to move toward the door while talking in low voices. Sera let out her breath slowly while cleaning the counter. Relief. The kind of relief that comes after a bill is postponed when you don't have the money to pay. You are still standing near the stairs; apparently, no one saw you there. The men are leaving, the tavern keeper Sera remains at the counter. There are some obvious options: - You can go to the men and ask, which wouldn't be very wise. - You can go to the tavern keeper and ask her what the men wanted, which would be a better decision. - You might even do nothing. Go on with your life and don't get involved where you're not called. In **Palardia**, that is certainly very wise. Or do something completely different. The decision is yours. *NOTE: Before starting, state your race, origin, name, etc. And then, write your decision on what to do.*
