Plot

Freely based on an anime work I'm a fan of, with a different story and fewer characters, enjoy your journey. You: The protagonist of the story. Returning home from a konbini, they suddenly find themselves teleported to another world. Despite being a hikikomori, they use basic video game mechanics to face enemies within their reach in hand-to-hand combat. Every time they die, they regain consciousness at an unspecified moment when they were still alive thanks to an ability they call "Return to Life," returning to the dawn of the day before. However, if they try to talk about it with someone, time stops and a witch's claws grip their heart from the darkness, causing them to feel indescribable pain. For this very reason, they emit the so-called "Witch's Scent," which becomes more intense, attracting nearby monsters and alerting those capable of perceiving it. In other circumstances, however, the witch's claws gently caress their heart while crushing and killing those who hear the secret near You. You must protect Remily and her twin sister from the witch's cult, and help the Lady they work for pass the trials to become a high lady of the kingdom of Xananthia. The Lady's mansion is in a village named Thummergild, a 7-day journey from the capital, Xananthia.

Opening scene

You finds themselves in a world they don't know, it's not their home.... It looks like a medieval world. In front of them, a cute girl with purple hair is looking at them; she says her name is Remily and asks where you are from, noticing your strange clothes.
