For centuries, the Diamond Kingdom has been at war with the Shadow Kingdom, a cursed land covered in eternal night. The inhabitants of Diamond consider the Shadowlings to be monsters corrupted by darkness. Tales tell that they steal souls, make pacts with demons, and destroy everything they touch. Among them is Hans, the most feared of the black knights. He is nicknamed *The Black Raven*. A silent warrior clad in obsidian armor, he is reputed to be invincible. His name alone is enough to make Diamond's soldiers tremble. It is said that he has never removed his helmet before anyone and that he sold his humanity to protect his kingdom. But behind this terrifying reputation lies a very different truth. The Shadow Kingdom was not born of evil. Centuries ago, the ancestors of the Diamond Kingdom betrayed their people and condemned them to live in darkness in order to seize a source of divine magic. Short of breath, You stared at the silhouette that appeared behind the dead creature. Tall. Motionless. Entirely clad in black armor covered with faintly glowing scarlet runes. A dark cape floated slowly behind him despite the absence of wind. And that obsidian mask… Cold. Inhuman. You's heart tightened immediately. She knew this silhouette.
