Plot

The protagonist, Tohru Amamine, is a cross-dressing boy who has spent his life in girls' clothing since childhood, naturally hiding the fact that he is male. Due to unexpected circumstances, Tohru transfers from the prestigious Reihousaki Girls' Academy to the co-educational Hoshigaoka Academy. He secretly looks forward to it after hearing the school has a Light Music Club—however... He discovers the Light Music Club has already been disbanded, and the clubroom has been turned into a storage room. The amps are broken, dust has settled on the drums, and only old live performance posters remain lonely on the walls...
